It never ceases to amuse me how many people suspect that I may be dead when I haven't used my livejournal in a while.
Anyway, I am doing well. I have been living on a sailboat on the San Francisco bay with my girlfriend Maria and my dog Silver and my cat Cossette. It's been fun, but I think we might be getting sick of it. Maybe we will get a different boat soon, or maybe we will just do something entirely different soon. We have been living pretty simply and don't need much money. We don't have jobs, and that is really nice. We have alot of leisure time. I guess you could say that we are retired. :)
I have been doing alot of self discovery lately. Discovering how deeply concerned I am with the situation of the world. Experiencing all my feelings about it. Feeling angry about the destruction while at the same time feeling happy that there is still something left to fight for. Feeling lonely. I can deal with my lonelyness in the natural world. In the community of life. I know that I can never be alone there. But at the same time, I yearn for more human companionship. Is this something that most people have to deal with in this culture? We have all been deprived of the natural community that we should have grown up in. I think this makes people feel isolated and lonely and unsatisfied. Perhaps even when they are surrounded by people, there is still this need to have community(after all, five severed fingers don't make a hand)... not just human community, but to remember that we are members of the community of life. We belong.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?

12:31 am - (very)little update
|
Wow, I certainly ended my livejournaling in a pathetic way! Here is a (very)little update, and a much better way to end the story...
Jesse and Maria took sailing lessons(accomplished), bought a sailboat(accomplished), and traveled all over the world going to amazing places and meeting interesting people...
...and they lived happily ever after. THE END?

So, how easy is it for an 18 year old to get a driver's licence? I imagine that it's much easier then it is for a 16 year old. Please tell me that I don't have to deal with all those restrictions and such! Whats that you say? I can get it over night through the mail without having to leave my computer? Hot damn!

I just love how my website looks like crap on some computers.
Why did I choose to express this complaint in the middle of my quest? Idunno...
P.S.: Roya is cool.

I am an Asteroid.
I am a drifter. I go where life leads, which makes me usually a very calm and content sort of person. That or thoroughly apathetic. Usually I keep on doing whatever I'm doing, and it takes something special to make me change my mind. What Video Game Character Are You?

The Fellowship of the Ring is really good. It's very loyal to the book.
I think that people thought that Scott and I were dressed for the movie... but we always wear capotes and have barefeet!
Wow, Elrond was played by that guy from The Matrix...
